That day, we began the morning by individually completing a hearing assessment tit-
led "A Phone Call from a Client." In addition, we were assigned a research topic within
the hotel sector, with which we then created a glossary of words. We would then introdu-
ce this glossary and participate in an activity designed to help us memorize the vocabulary.


This activity simulated a typical customer phone call within the context of the tourism indus-
try, with the main objective of improving our English listening comprehension skills. Throu-
ghout the activity, we took on roles as customer service representatives and customers, giving
us invaluable hands-on experience communicating with customers in real-world scenarios.
In this way we practiced listening comprehension and responded correctly to the les-
sons that were asked of us and in this way the listening evaluation was carried out.
