Realization of the presentation of the pro-
portions and complementary activity.
During this day of learning, we conducted two assess-
ments on two different grammar topics: “SOME & ANY”
and place prepositions. Additionally, we explored and
studied vocabulary related to the restaurant experience.
“SOME & ANY” Assessments:
We completed two assessments on the usage of “SOME”
and “ANY.” These determiners are essential for unders-
tanding how nouns are quantified in English. Through
exercises and questions, we demonstrated our com-
prehension of when and how to use “SOME” (some)
in affirmative contexts and questions. We also grasped
the use of “ANY” (any) in negative and interrogative
contexts. The assessments allowed us to showcase our
ability to apply these concepts in practical situations.
Study of Place Prepositions:
We dedicated time to studying place prepositions. These
words are crucial for describing locations and directions
in English. We practiced how to use prepositions such as
“in,” “on,” “under,” “next to,” among others, to describe
where objects or places are in relation to other elements.
Through exercises and practical examples, we de-
monstrated our ability to apply prepositions accurately.

Exploration of Restaurant Vocabulary:
In addition to grammar and prepositions, we also ex-
panded our vocabulary related to the restaurant ex-
perience. We learned new words and phrases com-
monly used when ordering food, interacting with
staff, and describing dishes and beverages in a restau-
rant. This vocabulary expansion enriched our abili-
ty to communicate effectively in a restaurant context.

Activity: “Place in the City” and Prepositions:
In this activity, we created a poster displaying diffe-
rent places in the city, such as shops, restaurants, par-
ks, and other landmarks. Then, we identified the direc-
tions to these places using prepositions. For example,
we described that “the park is next to the supermar-
ket” or “the restaurant is on the corner of the street.”
This allowed us to apply our knowledge of preposi-
tions in a practical context and enhance our skills in
giving directions and describing locations in Engli-
sh. As part of our portfolio, we have included ima-
ges and descriptions that illustrate our proficiency
in using prepositions to describe places in the city.
