Coimbatore
Marudhamalai temple situated on
the Marudhamalai Hills, built by
Tamil kings. The temple is
dedicated to Lord Murugan and is
considered the Seventh House of
Lord Murugan. Like most Murugan
temples, the temple is situated
upon a hill, part of the Western
Ghats about 12 km west from the
centre of the city of Coimbatore.
We went to the Marudhamalai
temple to seek the blessings of
Lord Murugan deity as he is
worshipped more in the city & has
home in the Southern part.
After which we went to the Tamil
Nadu Botanical Garden at a
distance of 2 km from Gass Forest
Museum, and 5 km from
Coimbatore
