parents: My Travel story
0We started our trip at 5:27 am from Mahim and reached the
base village at 10 am. As a result, we were at Virar by 6:30 p.m.
During the trek/trip, many good and bad things happened, all
of which were hilarious and memorable.When we came to the foot of the trip, we took a shortcut road
and when we got further ahead, we noticed that the road was
shut, so we took reserve, but our car got stuck in the mud. And
merely removing the car took half an hour. We resumed our
trek to the base village after removing the car.
The Takmak fort is one of the
hidden gems of the Sahyadris.
The fort is situated in the Vasai
Tehsil, Palghar district. Though
it is closer to Mumbai, it still
remains unexplored. The base
village of the trek is Sakawar
which is at sea level. The trek
gradually gains altitude and
climbs up to 2000 ft from the
base.
