RVMsareaninitiativebythe
NationalEnvironmentAgencyto
encourageSingaporeanstorecycle.
Themachineswillbelocatedat
varioussupermarketsandmallsin
partnershipwithdrinksmanufacturer
FraserandNeave(F&N).
Foreveryfourcontainersdeposited,
a groceryvoucherworth 20 centswill
bedispensedforuseatparticipating
retailerssuchasFairPriceand
Cheers.RVMs,whicharefixedwith
compactors,acceptbottlesofupto
twolitresandallowfora capacityof
upto 600 flattenedcansandbottles.
Oncethemachineis 80 to 90 percent
fullanautomaticalertissenttoF&N
sothecrusheditemscanbecollected
andsentforrecycling.
