60. According to DSO Iraq, secret ink was revealed like this: ‘An ordinary
    domestic letter which contains on its reverse side a message in secret ink is
    processed by a mixture of ammonia and silver nitrate smeared over the
    sheet with a stick that has been wrapped in cotton wool. Sometimes rice
    water is used, the message being developed by tincture of iodine diluted
