PLANET PEA-PLE SIRI 29

(Sun May09cfyK) #1

Start by introducing different shapes to the pupils. Discuss basic shapes

such as squares, circles, triangles, rectangles, and 3D shapes. ( show

examples or draw them on a whiteboard or paper ).

Lay out all the materials on a table or workspace, making sure each pupil

has access to scissors, glue, and a variety of coloured paper.

Provide each pupil with a large sheet of white paper or cardboard as the

base for their collage. This will be the canvas where they will create

their shape collage.

Encourage the pupils to search for shapes in magazines, newspapers, or

printed pictures (if available). They can cut out shapes they find

interesting or use pre-cut shapes from colored paper.

Instruct the pupils to create their shape collages on a white paper or

cardboard base. They can arrange and glue the shapes in any way they

like to create unique artwork. Emphasize that they can overlap shapes,

create patterns, or use the shapes to form pictures or scenes.

If desired, pupils can use markers, crayons, or coloured pencils to add

details, decorations, or additional elements to their collages.

After completing their collages, they can have a discussion with each

others about their creations. Ask them to describe what they made,

which shapes they used the most, and why they made certain choices.

Allow the pupils to proudly display their shape collages on a wall or

bulletin board. This not only showcases their work but also allows them

to appreciate each other's creations.
