321ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Julie Krejci was born in Roswell, New Mexico, USA. She
moved several times within the US and Europe during her
adolescence and received a Bachelor of Arts in International
Relations at Syracuse University and a Master of Arts in
Humanities at California State Dominguez Hills. After
pursuing a teaching degree, she taught in Spanish in the
Los Angeles School District and then went overseas to teach
at the American International School in Vienna, Austria.
Now married to an Austrian and the mother of two young
daughters, she calls Vienna her home. While both authors
contributed something to each chapter, Julie is primarily
responsible for Chapters 3, 4, 5, 8 and half of Chapters 7
and 9.
