Pinochet government. Some returned to Chile, while others

wave of authors has popped up on the scene. Alberto Fuguet,

Condorito

One of Chile’s most famous exports to the rest of the
Spanish-speaking world is the comic book Condorito. It
relates the adventures of a character with the head of a
condor (the bird of the Andes) who lives in the human world,
populated by characters that include his condor-like nephew
Coné and his lovely, fully human girlfriend, Yayita.

TRAVEL

Maybe reading one of the authors above has encouraged

in Santiago, you owe it to yourself to experience the rest
of the country. Chile is so much more than its capital city.

Many Santiaguinos escape to the nearby beaches on weekends.
