subject pronoun vos for tú, another phenomenon common
throughout Latin America. Do note that even though the
speaker uses the subject pronoun vos, the indirect and
direct object pronoun is still te and the possessive forms
are still tu and tuyo. For example, Vos quédate aquí!, Vas
vos en tu auto? However, substituting vos for tú in Chile is
a sign of poor education, unlike in other Latin American
countries where its use is widespread.
