climbed.

Niebla and Isla Mancera.
„ Termas de Puyehue—grand hotel with hot springs,
outdoor activities and spectacular views.
„ Puerto Varas and Frutillar—two small towns on Lago
Llanquihue facing the Osorno Volcano. Frutillar is home
to the German Museum and hosts the annual classical
music festival. From Puerto Varas you can easily access
the Saltos de Petrohué, the Lago Todos los Santos and the

„ Chiloé—this island is known for its houses on stilts
(palafitos) and brightly painted wooden churches.
„ Laguna San Rafael—home to the San Valentín glacier. You
can get up close and drink whisky poured over small
pieces of the glacier found floating in the lake.
„ Torres del Paine National Park—beautiful park known
for the Cuernos del Paine (Horns of Paine). Park is home to
glaciers, lakes and hiking trails. Activities include camping,
hiking, climbing, kayaking and glacier crossing.
„ Easter Island—Noted for its mysterious Moai stone
sculptures and Polynesian history and culture.
