Laura Camacho, a native of Galena, Illinois, was a Rotary
exchange student to Bolivia. She later married a Latin
American and studied Psychology at the Catholic University
in La Paz, Bolivia for three years. She received a Bachelor
of Arts in Psychology and Spanish and a Master’s degree
in Spanish Literature and Linguistics from the University of
Wisconsin-Madison. Laura has lived the expatriate life on four
continents, but her heart remains in Latin America.
