Writing Guides for Newbies is a manual book written and edited by PISMP TESL
students JUNE 2023/2028 intake, Institute of Teacher Education, Kent Campus. This manual
book is produced for the course TSLB1084 Language Skills in Social Context. Their hard
work and willingness in this course have made this book possible to be published.
Writing Guides for Newbies is meant to help anyone who wants to start, improve, and
perfect their writing. Hence, this manual book contains step-by-step instructions combined
with detailed explanations to help writers everywhere around the world.
As future English Language teachers, these trainee teachers will need this manual
book to guide their students' writing skills. Thus, throughout their course study, they were
guided to research writing skills and guidelines. Moreover, this book is also a
commemoration of a successful collaboration among the TESL students as well as with the
English lecturer involved.
