Nike gymwear in bright pink.
Next I’d head to Jamaica.
I’d spend the morning looking
around the island, tanning
and listening to music. I’d hang
out with my granddad – I
would fly him out so he can
take me to where he grew up.
When it comes to food I’d
need to explore and find out
where the best lunch spots
are. My favourite thing to
eat would be oxtail, rice
and peas, plantain and
steamed vegetables. For
dessert I would have Baileys.
I’d be wearing an outfit by
one of my favourite designers- I love Dior, Prada and
Maison Margiela right now.
I also love French designer
Marine Serre too, the pieces
just fit so perfectly.
I always wear white Nike
Air Force 1s or Air Max 95s
and the bag I keep wearing
at the moment is a Margiela
cross-body. It’s patent and
looks like a cushion.
In the afternoon I’d be
at a bashment rave with
unlimited drinks or Wray and
Nephew rum that wouldn’t
make you that drunk – which is
impossible, but this is a dream.
I would be with all of my
friend who want to break
it down – I’d change into
something comfortable but
sexy that shakes when I move.
My ultimate dinner destination
would be back home to
Walsall to my dining table with
food prepared by my mom. I’d
just have dinner with my family
as I don’t see them enough.
I’d go to sleep on a cloud of
pink candyfloss.

22-years-old, already
experienced stellar
success. Growing up in
the West Midlands, she wrote
her first song at the age of 11,
winning a music scholarship
to a local secondary school,
studying classical singing.
When she was 15, her soon-
to-be manager spotted her
on YouTube, singing covers
of soul songs. She was quickly
travelling back and forth
to London, working in the
studio, while serving lattes in
Starbucks at the weekends.
Her debut album of smoky
R&B melodies, Lost & Found,
led her to being nominated
at the 2016 Mobo’s, which
resulted in Drake DM’ing her
on Instagram, asking her to
collaborate. Since then she has
worked and toured with the
Canadian rapper, along with
grime star Stormzy, supported
Bruno Mars on tour and played
her own sell-out gigs in the
US. She’s also won the critics’
choice award at the Brits,
performed at Coachella and,
in 2019, became a Dior
make-up ambassador. With
almost three million followers
on Instagram, she’s not slowing
down: “I’m currently just
writing and writing,” she
laughs, when we catch up
with her at Destination Denim,

My dream morning would be

dearest friends, playing the song
