anticipated bakery and café in the North Park neighborhood this summer. Originally based out
of a cozy townhouse, Pâtisserie Mélanie was so successful that owner and head pastry chef
Melanie Dunn had no choice but to grow her business into a larger space. You’ll fi nd Melanie’s
signature pastries at this bigger location (like her ever-popular Smoked Paprika & Cheddar
Croissant), but what fans are most excited for is the indulgent range of never-before-served
cream-fi lled pastries Melanie will unveil at the new location.

When Pamela Vuong announced her fi rst doughnut pop-up shop on her Instagram, @thefl ourboxseattle,
in 2017, she had no idea long lines would form around the block to get a taste of her brioche doughnuts.
Fast-forward past many more wildly successful pop-ups (and hundreds of gorgeous Instagram photos of
her custard-fi lled doughnuts), Pamela is opening her fi rst bake shop, The Flour Box, in the Hillman City
neighborhood of Seattle, Washington, in May of this year. The bakery will feature some of Pamela’s best
sellers, like her cream cheese-fi lled Everything Bagel Doughnut, as well as new creations unique to the bakery.
