Step Eight: Now we’ll do a quick
step-and-repeat to create the rest
of the lines. With the path still
select ed, press Option-Command-T
(PC: Alt-Ctrl-T) to invoke the step-
and-repeat function. Then, drag
the duplicate path to the right
about the same distance that the
original stroke is from the left edge
of the document (to about the 360
px mark). Press Enter when done.
Step Nine: Next, hold down
Shift-Option-Command (PC: Shift-
Alt-Ctrl) and tap the T key about 7
or 8 more times (or however many
times you need to get to the other
edge of the canvas). Keeping the
path selected while you do this will
keep all the copies on the same
Shape layer. Press Enter to commit
the step-and-repeat transformation.
When done, close this smart object
file and save the changes.
Step 10: Back in the original doc-
ument, you’ll see the smart object
layer update with the new line effects
we just added. With the Move tool
(V) selected, hold down the Shift key
and press the Up Arrow several times
to nudge the layer up and create a
sort of horizon line.
