Step 20: Next, duplicate the sub-
ject smart object layer. We’ll use
this to create the reflection. Flip
the duplicate vertically as we did
in Step 11 with the “floor,” but
this time position the flipped copy
so it aligns with the bottom edges
of the original subject layer. Press
Enter when in place. Drag the
reflection layer below the subject
layer in the Layers panel.

Step 21: Turn off the subject layers
for the moment by clicking their Eye
icons in the Layers panel. Click on
the backdrop reflection layer (Layer 2
copy) to make it active, and lower its
layer Opacity to 60%. This starts to
give a sense of depth to the scene.
