How to...

From drizzle frizz to downpours that put waterproof mascara to the test, beauty and

rain haven’t traditionally mixed well. But if Versace’s SS2O show taught us anything,

it’s that we should embrace the showers. Hair was artfully dishevelled, as if caught in a

rainstorm, then frantically pushed back. While at Ashish, make-up artist Isamaya Ffrench

painted outside the eye lines to create a dramatic smudge. Complexion-wise, it was all

about the post-shower sheen, with models’ skin gleaming backstage at Roland Mouret.

Model Steinberg even showcased the ‘just been caught in a downpour’ scowl on every

runway she stomped down. An easy to emulate beauty trend, if ever we saw one.
