HOW TO:
Store Fresh Herbs
Wrap fresh herbs in a slightly
damp paper towel, place in a
resealable bag and press out
most of the air. Store in the
refrigerator for 5-7 days.
Freeze Fresh Herbs
Chop fresh herbs and fill the
empty sections of an ice cube
tray with them. Carefully pour
water into each herb-filled
compartment and freeze.
Dry Fresh Herbs
Snip off healthy branches and
remove the leaves from the
bottom inch of each stem.
Bundle several stems together
with string or a rubber band,
and hang upside down in a
warm, airy room. Check the
herbs weekly until they’re
completely dry. Crumble
the leaves into spice jars.
