DANCE SUCCESS!
Year 8 student Arabella Mehta competed in the
West Midlands dance festival, 28th October to the 31st October. It
was her first ever dance festival, so we are incredibly proud that
she has qualified for Nationals with her tap solo!

LILY CORKILL
DANCE SUCCESS!
Year 8 student, Lily Corkill competed in the British Theatre
Dance Association Championship Finals on the 11th & 12th
November.She did amazingly well and is now the
All England Inter Champion in Tap and Character!Lily will also be performing alongside Sam Bailey and
Scott Mills in December in the De Montfort Hall
pantomime ‘ Jack and the bean stalk ’.WELL DONE Lily!
#BGLC_PASOPHIE PRINCE - IN THE WEST END
Year 9 student Sophie Prince performed in London on Sunday 8th October 2023. Sophie auditioned back
in August to be part of a special celebration for a production company she has worked with before. She
was successful and over the past couple of months has been rehearsing hard. Sophie performed at His
Majesty ’ s Theatre in London ’ s West End, as part of Rare Productions 20th Anniversary Celebrations.
What an experience, for her, and all who took part!
