Warm
your wipes
If you notice your baby gets
upset when you use wipes, try
warming them in your hand
before cleaning her bottom –
they can be cold against
delicate skin, and startle her.
We don’t blame her for
feeling cross!

Enjoy
the time
Consider those early nappy
changes as a chance to bond
with your bundle of joy. At this
age she can’t attempt to escape
by crawling away, so you have
her full attention – it’s a great
time to enjoy eye contact and
sing songs and chatter
away to her.

Keep smel
locked
There’s no getting away from the fact
that nappies can smell seriously bad, but
the slimline Tommee Tippee Twist & Click
Advanced Nappy Disposal System wraps
nappies individually in a multi-layer, anti-
bacterial film, to stop germs and unfavourable
whiffs escaping. And it means fewer trips to
the outside bin, too, as the Disposal System
can hold up to 30 nappies at a time!

Invest in a good changing mat

If you don’t have the space for a changing table, don’t worry. A portable
changing mat is actually much more useful to move with you around
the house, and it can be hidden away neatly, too. It will need to see you
through at least two years of nappy changing, though, so it’s worth
choosing a good one. Ideally, pick a waterproof mat with raised sides to
keep your baby snug in one place. If your baby seems to find it a bit cool
to the touch, simply lie an old
towel or muslin that can easily
be thrown in the washer over
the surface, to warm it up.
