from me!” But she’s very
tidy and organised, which
is something I don’t think you
can teach. I’m like, “Where
did she learn that?” I’m
definitely not like that!
You’ve always been honest
about the struggles you’ve
faced as a single mum. Has
it become easier over time?
I don’t think it necessarily gets
easier or harder, it’s just the
situation I’m in. My experience
is of being a single parent and
that’s what this show is about.
Whatever kind of parent you
are, as your child gets older
you face different challenges
and that’s across the board. Of
course, it’s always handy to
have an extra set of hands and
I definitely would love to grow
my family. I want to do it with
someone, I’d love to.
Do you think it would be nice for
Sunday to have siblings?
One hundred per cent. I’ve got a sister
and I definitely want more kids, yeah. I’m
30 this year and I’d love to extend my family
for sure. People are like, “How many kids
do you want? Do you want a big family?”
But I really just go with the flow of life.
I just live day by day. But I would love
Sunday to have siblings. There are lots
of my friends who were pregnant at the
same time as me who have now gone
on to have their second children, and
I’m like, “I can’t wait to have more kids!”
On that note – are you still dating
your mystery man?
I am still dating my mystery man, yeah! We
are very much in a relationship. It doesn’t
feel so new to me, but it’s exciting to actually
talk about it, if I’m honest. I can’t keep him
a mystery man forever because that would
just be weird. I’ve felt very comfortable about
opening up about my personal life for the past
seven years of being on various reality shows.
When something good happens in my life,
I want to put it everywhere on Instagram. So
it’s really strange because he doesn’t want to
be in the public eye. On the new series, you
will get to see elements of me very much
talking about how in love I am, but I have
to respect that he doesn’t want to be in the
spotlight. So we’ve had to find a little bit of a
balance. But if I’m honest, I’ve actually found
that more attractive. It’s been so nice to have
something just for me for a good long run.
We’ve managed to have a relationship just
for us. But you know me, nothing is ever
plain sailing. There is definitely a twist in
our relationship, which is funny. But you’ll
have to tune in to find out more!

Ooh! So can you confirm the rumours that
your man is Albie Gibbs?
He’s my boyfriend, yeah. I can confirm!
What do you like the most about him?
We’re like chalk and cheese. He’s super
laid-back and just goes with the flow,
whereas I’m a little bit mad and can be
crazy at times. He really doesn’t bat an
eyelid and he calms me down. He’s such
a lovely, genuine person and he’s so
respectful, trusting and loyal. He’s such
a gentleman. And he makes me laugh – and
that’s all you really want in a partner.
Has he met Sunday yet?
Yeah, he’s met Sunday. We’ve been together
for a few months now, but I knew him before.
When I was in Dubai a few years ago for
New Year’s Eve, I was out there with Sunday
so he actually met her then. But I didn’t want
it to be this big moment where I made it into
a big thing. I wanted it to be super natural.
It’s all good.

Is he on the same wavelength as you
when it comes to wanting children?
Honestly, he’s such a private person.
I have to respect that he doesn’t want to
be in the public eye and I don’t want to
put that pressure on someone. So I won’t
answer any more questions on him.
Fair enough! You recently said on
The Mummy Diaries that a 9 to 5 office
job is easier than posting sponsored
Instagram posts. Did you get any
backlash for that?
I didn’t get any backlash but, to be fair, I
don’t actually check my Twitter account.
But that was just a few seconds of a
very long conversation. That’s TV for you.
Instagram is a very small percentage of
my work. I’ve got a nutrition business, I
film for my TV show and I do presenting
jobs, so there are lots of different things at the
same time as being a mum which, let’s face it,
is a full-time job. We were having a discussion
about Instagram which, I’m not going to lie,
can sometimes be the bane of my life. If I do a
sponsored post, I like to be super professional
and meet the requirements – and there can be
a lot of requirements. The lighting has to be
good, you have to make sure it’s genuine and
I wouldn’t do anything I wouldn’t use or
believe in. I was just saying that all the details
and everything that goes into it can be tricky.
The coronavirus has affected so many
people. How are you holding up?
Where I’m self-employed, all my work has
been cancelled. And I know everyone is
feeling the strain
one way or
another. I’m fine.
It means that
I’m appreciating
the simpler
things in life.
