Like the rest of the country, I’ve
been obsessed with Tiger King,
the Netflix documentary series
about trainer Joe Exotic and his
animal park. I don’t want to give
too much away for anyone who
hasn’t seen it, but we find out
early in the show that he’s
currently in prison. I just
want to say... Free Joe
now! I think he’s a clever
fella and I don’t mind him.
The supporting players in
the show, Carole Baskin and
Doc Antle, are also interesting
characters, although they’re both
pretty odd. I know a lot of people
are accusing Carole of killing her
ex-husband Jack
Lewis – something
she’s denied – but I’m
not convinced she did.
I think he’s still out there living
the life and she’s innocent. I’d be
interested to see if anyone else
agrees with me!
My little DJ turned six
on Saturday – and we
celebrated the only
way we could... with
a lockdown birthday
breakfast in the house!
She got so many presents at
Christmas, including a bike, that I actually held the bike
back and told her she could have it on her birthday
instead. She seemed happy enough with that! She also
got some new clothes and trainers and was spoiled
rotten. Let’s hope her next birthday is
in happier circumstances.
My mum Sue is in the ‘high risk’ category
when it comes to COVID-19, so she has to
stay indoors for at least three months and is
only allowed to open the window to get air.
Of course she’s scared and last week she
suffered an angina attack. She’s OK now, thank
God, but it’s left her having panic attacks and my
heart breaks because I can’t be with her. We try
to keep her calm by FaceTiming her every day,
just us pottering about the house so she
can feel a part of it.
Never underestimate the effect
this whole situation is having on
people’s mental health – be
aware and check in on your
loved ones every day!
KEEPING UP WITH
My Molly is feeling so much better
following her own coronavirus scare,
and I’m pleased to say I’m doing OK too.
Now we’re just cracking on with life in
lockdown... including the dreaded
home-schooling. It’s bloody hard, isn’t it?
DJ has an app from school she learns
from, while Max and Heidi crack on with
their homework and they’re done for the
day. They seem OK, but if anyone has
ideas on how to keep them entertained
and stimulated, send ’em my way!

This week, DJ celebrates a quiet birthday and
Kerry leaps on the Tiger King bandwagon
It was a little concerning to see Lauren
Goodger posting about her anxiety last
week and the fact she’s using alcohol
as a means of feeling better.
Lauren, love, as someone who’s also
suffering from hideous anxiety right now,
I understand where
you’re coming from
- I had to take a
valium the other
night to sleep
because my mind
was in overdrive. But
I urge you not to turn
to booze. I know it’s
hard, as every day’s
the bloody weekend
right now – I even
treated myself and
Ryan to a cheeky
bottle of Prosecco
last week – but too
much of it will only
make you feel worse.
It’s easy to find
a vice in lockdown,
mind. Mine is
Magnum ice creams.
I can’t stop scoffing
them – I’m having
one for breakfast
every morning!
BOOZE BATTLE
EVERY
WEEK!
