how often should we be grounding?

Getting grounded
According to Scott, grounding twice
a day for 20 minutes is conducive
to healing.
But even just starting with getting
outside on your lunch break, kicking off
your shoes and feeling the grass beneath
your toes is a beneficial beginning.
So how can we experience the health
benefits of aligning our electromagnetic
field to the earth’s energy?

HAVE COLD SHOWERS

BLOOD PRESSURE)
Cold exposure increases
immunity and improves mood
because it releases dopamine
in the brain. Ease into it by
starting with a cool shower
for 30 seconds at the end
of your hot one and then
build up your tolerance
so that after three
weeks you can stand
in a cold shower.

KICK YOUR SHOES OFF
Stressed at work? Get back to baance by
grounding on your break. Just go outside,
find a nice piece of grass or dirt, kick off
your shoes and let your feet do the work.

USE AN EARTHING
DESK MAT
This mat contains both
positive and negative
charge and can be used
under your keyboard and
mouse or beneath your
bare feet so that you can
experience grounding at
your desk. It’s said to be
excellent for productivity.

WALK BAREFOOT
ON THE BEACH
Putting your toes in
the sand or spashing
in the sea is a way to quickly
absorb negative ions because
coastlines have more negative
ions than cities. If you do a
60-minute barefoot walk on
the beach, you’ll have dosed up
on negative ions for the week.

SLEEP BETWEEN
EARTHING SHEETS
Earthing sheets are
reguar bed sheets that have
conductive material woven
through them. This conductive
material connects to a wire that
you plug into the grounding
port on an electrical outlet.
Every household outlet has a
ground wire that connects the
electricity in the house to the
ground outside. By grounding
your bedding to this grounding
wire, you’re theoretically
grounding yourself to the Earth.
