SIR BOB IN BRONZE
With the Reds so dominant in the league, it felt right that in early February
2020 a bronze statue was unveiled at Anfield to celebrate the life and
legacy of Liverpool FC’s most successful manager, Bob Paisley. The
sculpture immortalises a famous image of Bob, carrying the injured Emlyn
Hughes off the pitch. Standing eight feet tall, it was designed to sit at the
right height to enable fans to take photos while visiting Paisley Square.
