A BOUQUET IN A BOX
Styling sunny daffodils in a hatbox creates
a spring-happy look that’s bursting with
brightness. “Daffodils are incredibly cheerful
after a gray winter—they’re perfect for lifting
everyone’s spirits!” says Newbery. “Here, the
blooms burst out of the box, signifying that
spring has sprung.” To do : Set a water-filled
vase in a hatbox and fill the vase with 4 dozen
daffodils in several varieties. Fan out blooms
over the box rim and set the box lid on top.

SWEET ‘NESTED’ SETTINGS um
Placing a pretty (and edible!) bird’s nest
at each setting offers guests a festive and
happy hello as they take their seats! To do :
Pick up a tray of cress or microgreens from
the grocery store or garden center and nestle
in a small bowl or ramekin. Place a deco-
rated hard-boiled egg on a spoon and stand
the spoon in the center of the greens. Set a
craft-store chick accent atop the greens, then
display finished bowls on a tray or add one to
each place setting.
This Easter, florists are
