SUSPECT WALL
The fi rst area you come to on the
approach is very popular with some
excellent rock and a good number of
worthwhile, albeit polished, climbs. With
a grade spread from F4a to F6b, it’s ideal
for the aim of this article. My picks are:

Prime Suspect (F4 a)
A great warm-up or ideal for somebody
getting into leading outdoors for the
fi rst time. The start is the hardest part
up a short wall above a ledge before
easier face climbing on good holds
brings you to the belay.

  3. Crime Scene (F6b)

  4. Suspectus (F6a+)

  5. Suspect Device (F6a+)

  6. Suspect Criminal (F6b)

  7. Under Suspicion (F6b)

  8. SND (F4 a)

  9. Cluedo (F5c)

  10. Forensic Science (5a)

EASY CLIMBS

8 The popular Prime
Suspect (F4a) on Suspect
Wall makes for a good
introduction route at
Trevor Rocks.
