ROLE MODEL

‘I have young kids, so my day usually
starts around 5.30am when they wake
up! I eat muesli with blueberries and milk
at home, and try to fit in a run or a gym
session before work when I can as I’ll feel
more energetic and focused for the rest
of the day. I love how I have the flexibility
with my work to drop my kids off at
school and pick them up. Lunch is a
hearty homemade soup that I take into
the office with me, plus some fruit. I tend
to batch-cook the kids’ food – they’re
enjoying curries at the moment, having
recently been to Sri Lanka on holiday.’

‘Once we’ve put the children to
bed, my husband and I will cook
something for ourselves. It’s a great
way to wind down from a busy day.
Favourites include stir-fried veg with
salmon, pasta with a bacon and tomato
sauce or risotto. I love catching up with
friends for a good meal, too.’

‘On weekends, I enjoy taking my
chocolate Labrador, Luna, for walks
with the family on one of the many trails
around Cranleigh, Surrey, where we live.’

‘I love fashion, and enjoy looking at
new trends and brands. I like seeing
the new designs, colours, fabrics and
creativity. I thought the Dior exhibit at
the V&A museum was amazing.’

‘Since having kids, it’s a little harder
to run as far as I used to! A steady goal
of mine is to train to be able to run a
half-marathon distance again, but for
now, I run 5Ks, do the elliptical and uphill
walking at the gym and a Barre or LBT
class on the weekend.’

‘I’m now working towards expanding
Tribe Sports’ range of recycled,
sustainable running apparel and
making more positive changes in the
business and for the wider community.’
