MATERIALS

• Iron


• Fabric or garment of choice


• Iron-on embroidery transfer pattern


• Needle


• Embroidery fl oss in two or more colors

Step 1 Press the fabric you are embroidering.

Place iron-on transfer sheet in desired location

on fabric, and heat the design for a few seconds.

Peel off the transfer sheet (A).

Step 2 Thread needle with 3 yards of fl oss and

tie a knot in one tail. Starting from the back of

fabric, push needle up through the fabric and

pull thread taut. Apply a satin stitch to complete

the pattern in that color (B).

Step 3 After completing one color, thread needle

with another color and continue with a satin

stitch (C) until the pattern is complete (D).
