Yes, You

Should

Use Drip

Irrigation!

IT’S A GREAT WAY TO
HYDRATE PLANTS IN
YOUR GARDEN WITHOUT
WASTING WATER BY
ENABLING YOU TO
DIRECT WATER RIGHT
TO THE ROOTS. THE
SUPPLIES ARE PRETTY
SELF-EXPLANATORY:
HOSES CONNECT
WITH T-SHAPE PIECES.
PLUS, YOU CAN ADD
TO THE SYSTEM AS
NEEDED. YOU’LL FIND
SUPPLIES AT ANY HOME
IMPROVEMENT STORE.

PLANT + POT = PERFECTION

1. Pick a container that’s
bigger than your plant’s
root ball by several inches;
drainage holes are a must.

2. Fill halfway with
potting soil.

3. Remove the plant from
its original container.

4. If the plant is root-bound,
scrape the sides of the root
ball to loosen the roots.

5. Place the plant in the
new container. Fill
with additional potting
soil to about a half
inch from the top.

6. Loosely pat down the
soil. Water thoroughly.
