METAPHOR
I thought of this concept when I saw
a fruit basket full of apples and oranges
in a hotel dining room. My companion and
I munched on the fruit while we studied
a map of the city we were exploring. The
subject isn’t so much the actual fruit but
the two very diff erent people represented
by the fruit. It’s a metaphor for those
people who are unique but who still
spend time together. I essentially created
a visual pun out of the popular phrase
“apples and oranges.”

INDIA INK
Indigraph fountain pen (84,70€)
The answer lies in this pen’s redesigned cap.
The pen’s disruptive cap design gives the
Indigraph superpowers. You can now use
pretty much any sort of ink with the fountain
pen, including Chinese and Indian inks, without
worrying about it drying or spoiling the pen’s
intricate ink-fl ow mechanism. Indigraph is
ideal for urban sketchers, calligraphers, artists,
designers, drafters, and hobbyists.
