We want to hear from you...
Over to you...
How would you
describe your
stitching style?
Haphazard! As
a mum of three who
home-educates her
children, it can be
hard to consistently find time to stitch.
Who do you most like to stitch for?
My children – I like them to see me making
and crafting and hope it helps encourage
them to explore their own creative sides.
When I’m not stitching, you’ll find me...
Planning my children’s education!
How long ago did you start stitching?
I taught myself when I picked up a stitching
magazine on a whim some 25 years ago.
Which celeb would you most like to stitch?
I’ve just stitched her, actually – I made a Frida
Kahlo portrait for my daughter’s birthday!
Which project are you
most proud of?
The sampler I stitched
for my niece. It’s
Harry Potter themed
because one parent is
a fan. It was also my
largest project. I hope it brings my niece joy!
How would you describe your stitching style?
I like subversive stitching, classic samplers
with a twist and other designs like those.
How cross stitch crazy are you?
I’m definitely in hoarding territory now! I love
collecting pretty threads, fabrics and charts.
Which occasion gets your needle twitching?
All birthdays and holidays. It’s my goal this
year to stitch and send more cards.
When I’m not stitching, you’ll find me...
Curled up on the couch either reading,
playing video games or watching films or T V.
Who is your favourite
character to stitch?
I love stitching any
Disney character as
I’m a huge fan!
Which cross stitch designer would be your
dream dinner party guest?
Heather Nugent would be my dream dinner
party guest. I love her small and colourful
designs – she has a great imagination!

Who do you most like to stitch for?
I enjoy stitching for friends and family the
most, whatever the occasion. It means my
gifts and cards are more personal and special.
How would you describe your stitching style?
I tend to stitch smaller charts. I love stitching
letters and colourful designs for children.
How long ago did you start stitching?
I started stitching four years ago, to help me
get through a bit of a tough time. My mum
introduced me to stitching and I’ve been
hooked on the craft ever since!
