‘I have had an interest in
photography from a fairly early
age, but after a long break
from it I only renewed my
interest about three years ago
having been introduced to
Instagram by my kids. I posted
a few photos (@markkench)
and found that people actually
liked them! This was shot at the
barge graveyard in Maldon,
Essex and I used a
polarising filter to remove glare
from the water.’ Mark uploaded
this shot using the hashtag
#appicoftheweek.
