concerned with the direction of travel, e.g. входи�ть ‘to go in, enter’.
Prefixed verbs of motion generally form their imperfective from the (a)
imperfective (ходи�ть, носи�ть etc.) and their perfective from the (b)
imperfective (e.g. идти, нести� etc.). Note, however, from the list below,
there is a slight modification to идти� when a prefix is added. These
verbs are often followed by a preposition.


Some common prefixed forms from ходи�ть/идти�
