Superlative of adverbs
There is no true superlative of the adverb. The idea of the superlative
is expressed by using the comparative and following it by either всего�
‘than everything’ or всех ‘than everyone’, as appropriate:
Петро�в ста�вит диа�гноз точне�е всех
‘Petrov makes the diagnosis most accurately’ (more accurately than
everyone).
Пробле�ма СПИ�Да беспоко�ит его� бо�льше всего�
‘The problem of AIDS worries him most’ (more than everything).
This construction can also be used with the short comparative of the
adjective to give a superlative meaning:
Э�тот врач лу�чше всех
‘This doctor is the best’ (lit. better than all).Упражне�ние 3 (Audio 2.36)
