T B P. Several classes of Spt3 and TBP mutations were shown to interact
genetically with respect to transcription. Mutations from two major studies^21 ,^64
are mapped on the structure of Spt3 and TBP in the SAGA–TBP complex. The
mutations appear to cluster at the contact sites between TBP and Spt3.
