I am Cassandra Gash – mother, rail-
way signalling engineer, outdoor and
photography enthusiast living in Mel-
bourne, Australia. Since returning to
Australia in 2020, after 2 years working
in Bangkok, my time has been focused
on family and work with limited time to
play with my camera. I visited Tasmania
(southern island of Australia) over the
2023 Christmas and New Years holiday period, which is predomi-
nantly national park and has numerous convict heritage sites. The
trip has sparked my interest in photography of my favourite subjects
- family, nature and architecture.
