EUROPEAN UNIVERSITIES BEACH

HANDBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

MALAGA, SPAIN

SEPTEMBER 20-23, 2023

Around 240 participants coming from 14 universities

from 11 countries participated in the European

Universities Beach Handball Championship that took

place in Malaga, Spain, simultaneously with the European

Universities Beach Volleyball Championship.

The event was organised by

the University of Malaga with

the contribution of National

Sports Council, Provincial

Council of Malaga, Andalusian

Government, Rincón de la

Victoria’s Town Hall and Torrox’s

Town Hall.

At the event EUSA was

represented by Miha Zvan,

EUSA Sports Manager, Ivana

Ertlova EUSA SCAC Chair for

Beach Handball, the Technical

Delegate, Jelena Eric, Marco

Technical Delegate and Eszter

Gulyas EUSA Sports Officer.

The European Universities

Beach Handball competition,

held at Rincon de la Victoria

Beach in Malaga, featured

exciting matches on the scenic

courts. The ambiance was filled

with high energy, attracting

a significant audience. What

distinguished the event was not

just the breathtaking setting

but also the focus on fair play,

exceptional sportsmanship, and

spirit of enjoyment.
