In the women’s competition,
the top first place was won
by the University of Rennes
(FRA) following the example
of their compatriots in the
men’s category, becoming the
new European Universities
champions with 0 defeat. The
second place in the women’s
competition was also won by a
Spanish university, University
of Seville, while the third
place belonged to the same
university as the third place in
men’s category, Jozef Pilsudski
Academy of P.E. (POL).


The Fair Play was given to Jozef
Pilsudski Academy of Physical


Education (POL) in the women’s
competition and to Camilo José
Cela University (ESP) in the
men’s championship.

The Most Valuable Player in
the women’s competition was
awarded to Margaux Pufros
from the University of Rennes 2
(FRA) and Lucas Zamora from
the University of La Rochelle
(FRA) in the men’s category.

The Wooden Spoon in the
women’s competition was given
to the Polytechnic Institute of
Coimbra (POR), while in the
men’s competition went to the
University of Goettingen (GER).

The next European Universities
Rugby 7’s Championships, will
take place in Ankara, Turkey
from 21-24 of July, 2025.
