EUSA – FISU STRATEGIC DIALOGUE

Following the General Assembly of the European University Sports Association

(EUSA) in Kusadasi, the EUSA-FISU Strategic Dialogue was organised on

October 13, covering relevant topics in the field of sport in higher education.

EUSA-FISU Strategic Dialogue
aims to connect, motivate,
and enable university sport
stakeholders in Europe to gain
a better understanding of their
work and realities, and to learn
how to network effectively for
the development of university
sport.

The event was attended
by over 100 participants,
with representatives from

all continental university

sports federations. It was an

opportunity for representatives

of the international, continental,

and national university sports

bodies to network and share

their perspectives, good

practices, and plans for the

future.

This strategic dialogue was

started by the welcome

addresses of EUSA President

Adam Roczek, and FISU

President Leonz Eder, who

welcomed all the delegates of

the Member Associations, as

well as partners and guests.

An introduction presentation

focusing on the importance

of good governance and fair

play was given by Sevim Gullu,

Scientific Board Member of the

European Fair Play Movement

(EFPM).

The main part of the event

featured two panel discussions,

each addressing a different topic.

The first panel focused on

the future perspectives of

university sports, discussing

the current achievements

and main challenges, as

well as opportunities for the
