Anuradhapura – Puttalam - 80 km
The ride to Puttalam on the West Coast was uneventful. Shortly
before arriving at the A3 that led in Colombo’s direction, a budget-
looking abode grabbed my attention. There was no reason
whatsoever to stay there, but I did anyhow, if merely to drag my visit
to Sri Lanka out for one more day. Once I’ve rinsed my cycling
clothes, a short walk led me to shops and food.
