The U.S. Chamber of Commerce
has awarded the Battle Creek Area
Chamber of Commerce with a 5-Star
Accreditation for its sound policies,
effective organizational procedures
and positive impact on the commu-
nity.
“This rigorous review includes
all aspects of a chamber’s policies,
operations and programming,” said
Raymond P. Towle, U.S. Chamber
vice president, Federation Relations
and IOM. “When a chamber of
commerce earns the accreditation
designation, it is widely recognized
throughout the industry as a mark of
excellence for the organization, as
well as its staff and leadership. “
The purpose of the U.S. Chamber’s
Accreditation Program is to facilitate
continuing excellence in the chamber
industry and to foster a pro-business
environment across America.
In order to receive accreditation, a
chamber must meet minimum stan-
dards in its operations and programs,
including areas of governance, gov-

ernment affairs, communications and
technology.
“Receiving the 5-Star Accreditation
from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce
is a tremendous honor that under-
scores our relentless pursuit of excel-
lence,” said Kara Beer, president
and CEO of the Battle Creek Area
Chamber of Commerce. “This rig-
orous review process examines all
aspects of our policies, operations,
and programming, and this accolade
marks our ability to serve as a vital
resource to our region’s businesses.”
She added, “This achievement is
not only a testament to our dedicated
staff and leadership, but also to our
ongoing advocacy of free enterprise
and our unwavering commitment to
supporting our members and local
businesses. We are deeply proud of
this accomplishment and grateful
for the trust and support of our com-
munity. Together, we will continue
to drive economic growth and excel-
lence in Battle Creek.”

of Commerce is a profound honor for
our entire community that reflects our
unwavering commitment to excel-
lence,” said Jeremy Wilson, chair-
man of the board, Battle Creek Area
Chamber of Commerce, and director
of North America Purchasing Group,
DENSO.
Wilson added, “This recognition
is a testament to our dedication to
reviewing, improving and promot-

ing strong business practices. ...
Additionally, it signifies our commit-
ment to establishing best practices
and staying in-step with industry
changes. We are incredibly proud to
receive this prestigious accolade for
the third time under President and
CEO Kara Beer’s leadership, and we
will continue to strive for excellence
in serving our vibrant business com-
