The local band Lucid Vibe which has been playing shows around Battle Creek,
Kalamazoo and Lansing for the past five years will be on stage Thursday,
July 4 at Horrocks in Battle Creek from 5-8 p.m. Vocalist Doug Borton said
the band is donating its performance fee and all funds donated by audience
members to the American Legions of west Michigan. Horrocks is located at
the Lakeview Square Mall on Beckley Road in Battle Creek.

The theater was saved and restored

by the locally formed nonprofit,

Friends of the Bohm Theatre, and

reopened as a community center for

arts entertainment in 2014. Blues at

the Bohm features a unique format

leading off with a headline band,

and following a brief intermission, a

Blues jam with local and area musi-

cians takes place until 10 PM. All

musicians participating in the Blues

jam receive a 50% discount on tick-

ets to the concert and can register at

the door the night of the event.
