envelopes in the popular “Balloon
Illumes,” presented by KALSEE

These will take place on the eve-
nings of July 3 and July 6.
All flights and activities are weath-
er permitting.
One major change this year is the
return of a “Fiesta Division” to the
Field of Flight.

The 2024 Field of Flight Pilot
roster includes pilots who have com-
peted and won in the World Hot Air
Balloon Championships.
The roster also includes pilots who
are former Field of Flight cham-
pions, as well as pilots competing
in both the U.S. Nationals and
Women’s Nationals.
This year’s roster includes:- Nick Donner (Louisville, Ky.) in
BlueGrass Rocket II. - Steve Sitko (Jackson, Mich.) in
Maveryx/Oaklawn. - Shawn Raya (Highland, Mich.)
in SULLAIR. - Paul Petrehn (Howell, Mich.) in
Enigma. - Larry Coan (New Hudson,
Mich.) in Dark Horse. - Andrew Nels (Smyrna, Ga.) in
Marvelous.
