The Kellogg Community College
women’s soccer team’s Fall 2024
season is underway, and will play its
first home match today (Aug. 29) at
2:30 p.m. against Iowa Central CC.
Admission to all home KCC ath-
letic events is free.
The Bruins opened regular-season
play yesterday (Aug. 28) on the road
at Grand Rapids CC.
Following its home opener today,
KCC’s next match is also at home

• at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4 vs.
  Lake Michigan College.
  The team – coming off a record
  season in 2023 – is ranked 15th in
  the nation in the National Junior
  College Athletics Association’s pre-
  season Division II rankings, released
  last week.
  It’s opponent in its home opener
  today, Iowa Central, is ranked No. 10.

This year’s roster of 22 includes 11

returning players with 11 new faces

under the leadership of fourth-year

head women’s soccer coach Levi

Butcher.
