The Franke Center Youth Theater
in Marshall will present a cast of
K-5 students as they embark on
a doubleheader of classic Disney
musicals: “The Aristocats” and “101
Dalmatians.”
“Over 80 students auditioned for
this show and we are thrilled to have
such a big cast with many familiar
faces and many kids new to theater,”
said producer Jen Popovits.
The first show, “Disney’s 101
Dalmatians Kids,” is a 30-minute
version based on the classic animated
film, a fur-raising adventure featur-
ing Cruella De Vil and 101 “adorable
heroes,” according to a Franke press
release.
The cast will feature Sabrina
Snyder as Cruella De Vil; Bentley
Nye as Roger; Scarlette Murray
as Anita; Elaina Jones as Perdita;
Kenner Conine as Pongo; Lyla
Holm as Nanny; Sylvia Swender as
Hattie; Freja Nycz as Jasper; Ava

The performance at 10 a.m. Oct.
12, will be a special Saturday morn-
ing cartoons-themed show.
“This double-feature of classic car-
toons will make audiences nostalgic
for weekend mornings spent in front
of the TV,” the Franke press release
stated.
So, for this performance only,
audiences will be invited to come in
their pajamas and enjoy a free cereal
breakfast and entertainment during
intermission.
Other performances are Thursday,
Oct. 10, and Friday, Oct. 11 at 7
p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 13, at 2:30
p.m.
