ern them and the candidates’ views
on public education policy.
“We believe it is crucial for our
community to be informed about the

Last Friday the 13th marked the 10th Annual
Harper Creek Middle School Homecoming Carni-
val, and what a celebration it was! This milestone
event has grown from a simple fundraising idea
into a beloved tradition that the entire Harper
Creek community eagerly anticipates each year.
A Community Tradition
The homecoming carnival began a decade ago
with a vision to create a significant fundraising
event to support our students and staff. Over the
years, it has evolved into a vibrant and exciting
celebration, featuring an array of attractions that
include pony rides, midway games, a bounce
house, a rock wall slide, a dunk tank, and a
variety of delicious treats like, cotton candy,
and snow cones. This year we also added St.
Samuel’s Food Truck and Scott’s Sweet Treats Ice
Cream. The carnival is a testament to the spirit of
community and the dedication of volunteers who
make it all possible.
