Olivet FFA Reporter 
On Oct 8, the Olivet FFA taught
nearly 800 elementary students from
Calhoun County about
where their food comes from at
the Calhoun County Fairgrounds in
Marshall on Agricultural
Literacy Day.
The FFA members brought in farm
animals including dairy cattle, sheep,
beef cattle, chickens,
goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, horses
and pigs.

Keira Fudge shows how a sprayer works at the toy farm model where many
of the concepts taught are reviewed. 

Marshall FFA provided the sprayer
and some animals as well. Indian
Creek Agriculture
Company provided a haybine and
hay baler so that FFA members
could teach students what they
are used for and how they work.

grain station, toy farm and ethanol.
