Music
School,
emphasized
the impor-
tance of
early musi-
cal exposure.
“Babies are born with the highest
musical aptitude they will ever have,
similar to language learning. Early
exposure to music prepares children
for future musical development,” she
explained.
The “Music First” program, based
on the Gordon Music Learning
Theory, is designed for children
from birth to age 5, offering a unique
opportunity for parents, grandparents
or guardians to participate with their
children in these interactive classes.
Noaeill added, “We encourage par-
ents with special needs children to
explore ‘Music First’ as an additional
form of support. Our goal is to ensure
that cost is never a barrier to partici-
pation.”
Financial aid is available, and the
program also partners with the Miller
Foundation’s BCreative initiative,
covering 50 percent of the cost for
eligible children aged 3 and older.
In addition to “Music First,” the

group classes in orchestral instru-
ments, voice, piano, guitar, ukulele,
drums and more.
“Music education is known to offer
many benefits, from enhancing aca-
demic performance to fostering self-
confidence,” said Balbaugh. “Studies
show that students involved in music
programs score higher on standard-
ized tests, while learning to play an
instrument supports brain develop-
ment and improves motor skills.”
