Post Foods continues to show sup-
port for the Battle Creek community
by
funding children’s educational pro-
grams and the Kaleidoscope Garden
at Leila Arboretum, says Michelle
Barry of the Leila Arboretum
Society.
The one-acre garden is the most
intensively landscaped space in Leila
Arboretum, with its own covered
pavilion, historic Battle Creek instal-
lations and many other educational
exhibits, she said.
Post Foods’ contribution helps Leila
Arboretum meet the growing need
for hands-on programming to connect
families with food and wellness.
“From pollinator education and
sensory garden exploration, to yoga
and ladybug releases, our programs
provide opportunities to learn and
appreciate nature, and to see and
experience the relationship of nature,
plants and the foods we eat,” said
Brett Myers, executive director of
Leila Arboretum.
Those interested in participating in
Leila Arboretum programs can email
Education Manager Katy Avery at
[email protected].
Participants are shown practicing yoga, one of the programs available at
Leila Arboretum in Battle Creek.
